Nocturnal Wonderland 2007

So I can't lie. I am a raver for life. I still get a kick out of the freeness, youth and excitement that occurs at raves, or electronic music festivals as they are known as these days. regardless they are still a lot of fun. Nocturnal Wonderland is the last big event of the summer season. This time it was held in downtown LA so it was very convenient to get to. The main headliners were the Chemical Brothers LIVE. They played for a nice 90 minute set of all their hits and new material. There were also kick ass sets by LTJ Bukem and DJ Hype at the drum & bass stage. Lots of beautiful people, old friends, and crazy costumes celebrating the Wonderland theme. Good fun!

Electric Daisy Carnival 2007

Electric Daisy Carnival was this past weekend and it was a total blast. They finally moved the event from the Orange Show in San Bernadino back to Los Angeles. It was at Exposition Park and the USC football stadium. The venue was sick with several stages spread throughout the parkgrounds and the main stage found on the football field. There were more rides then ever including a freefall drop and one of my favorites, the Himalaya. The music was great with standouts from Stanton Warriors, Mark Farina, DJ Zinc, and Collette. All in all it was a great night of good friends and beautiful people. Raving in LA is the best!!!
